An acrylic painting by my artist friend Komal Bhandari was the most expensive thing I have bought till date. It cost me approximately 6000 dollars and is four feet by four feet in size. This colorful square is the proud occupant today on my living room wall. I always look at it with both joy and apprehension as it may get soiled or damaged, because still there is no clear cut insurance policy for Art in my country. I knew when I bought it that this would become a priceless member of my family. It is so beautiful that I do not intend to sell it even if I get a greater price than I bought for.

If I could have a car I would love to own a Volkswagen Beetle. It may sound like a step backward in the time of speed, but I simple adore the legendary status of car. The curves of its body and its come hither looks have always fascinated me. The size of the car too is so human, unlike the big monsters on the road. Its rear engine too makes it so much different from the crowd. The best is, it looks great in any color shade. Once inside it with your mate, you feel both are one, as its cozy space makes you feel one is on a couch at home. So personal, so human!

As I was not too good in subjects like Mathematics and Science, I always looked forward to our twice-a-week Art classes. I drew and painted well since my childhood, therefore I was adored by my art teacher to the envy of my classmates. But the opposite happened during my Mathematics and Science classes where I was mostly being punished for my wrong answers. I was King in my Art classes. My artworks hung on the walls of the Art Room. I felt proud whenever I entered to attend my classes here. It was my domain!

Clichéd though it may read, it is one hundred percent true that the Dog is man’s best friend. It is also a faithful animal. These wonderful creatures make me feel so much alive when they are around me. I feel like a star. The selfless adoration and respect they have for humans they are close to is exemplary. Even the dogs on the streets become great friends with you once you warm up to them. And without doubt they can be fierce guardians of the ones who love them. Although sometimes their incessant barking may put you off a bit, but these creatures are the best a man can befriend.

As I have a Yahoo mail account, I get all the latest news from around the world and my country as I go to check my mails. It is a very user friendly site as it also directs me to my Facebook account and my Yahoo messenger where I meet all my friends and contacts. I am a great movie fan. Yahoo-movies is the most extensive and up to date movie place I can visit and check the details of the DVD I want to rent or the latest one I want to catch at the theatre. There is a super-hit Hindi film song called YAHOO, which too is my all time favorite.

There are different kinds of breeds of dogs in world. the most important task while thinking of getting a dog is to choose its breed. One should always take a puppy rather than adult big dog. The breed of dog should be chosen according to the size of the house and family. in small size house one should always keep the toy breed dogs. and in the big size houses one should take big size dog. all information regarding dogs can be found on dog supplies. Some dogs like Dalmatians should be kept in a couple. all dogs are of friendly nature. but one should keep some facts in mind that naturally dogs are wild animals so some little precautions should be taken.

If there is anything I could do if I could turn back time is to marry the girl that I loved more than anything else. She was the most charming girl in my school and I loved her for the loving and caring nature that she had. We spent a great deal of time together and used to walk down the river every day in the evening. I still remember our first kiss and the way her face became red when I kissed her good night after our long walk. I guess God never wanted us to live together for the rest of our lives. One day she suddenly felt weak and day by day her health was going down. She was diagnosed with cancer. My dream of spending a lifetime with her shattered like glass. Once she asked me as to what would I do when she would not be there. I told her that I would keep on loving her and live with her memories but she made me promise to her that I would marry someone else. I crossed my fingers and agreed to her. She left me fifteen years ago. I am still alive and living because of the beautiful memories that she has given to me. If only I could turn back time and spend the time once more with my girl, whom I still love more than anything else in this whole world.

It was the hardest thing for me to do in my life till now. While I was working as an Operations Manager with one of the multinational companies, I was made to take a drastic decision of terminating an executive. As I had known the difficulties that this employee had been facing and the liabilities that he had, it was really difficult for me to agree to the decision taken by other senior members of the organization. But eventually I had to terminate that employee because if I didn’t do that, my job would have been at stake. I prayed to the almighty to give me the strength to speak to this employee and tell him that he is no longer a part of this company and needs to find another job to take care of his family. This was the only time I had faced this sort of a scenario. I guess God listened to my prayers and I could inform him that he has been terminated from his services. I dealt with this difficult situation that was the hardest thing for me to do by finding another alternative for him and he joined the new organization and thanked me for the same.

I love to spend time with my pets. I have an Alexandrian Parakeet, Clown Fishes, a pet Oscar and a Giant Gourami just to name a few. I got all my pets when they were really very small and I had to spend a great deal of time rearing them. From childhood, I am fascinated by animals and love to take good care of them. When I got my Alexandrian Parakeet, he was so tiny and barely had any feathers. I hand reared him by offering him food with the help of a syringe. I had to feed him several times a day and take care of him as his own parents would have if he was in the wild. He has bonded with me as he would have with his own parents and he loves me a lot. He takes my name as I reach back home from my work and kisses me. Even my fishes greet me when I come back home and I know that they also missed me during the day as I missed them. I just love to spend time with my pets and taking good care of them is utmost priority for me.
