My family means more to me than anything in this entire world. I have gone through a lot in my life and my family has always been as thick as thieves and stuck beside me through all of my many trials and tribulations. I am very grateful to know that I always have people to lean on for love and support. My family has had its own issues but at the end of the day we have always come together to protect one another. I think it is an amazing feeling to know that you have people who love you unconditionally and will be there until the end. My family means the world to me.

When I was in second grade, I had the most beautiful long blonde hair. It was naturally curly and flowed all the way down my back. My mother got complimented on it everywhere we went. One night while I was sleeping my brother cut my hair off while I was sleeping! And I am not just talking an inch or so, I am talking my hair was a short as his and he had a little bit of a grown out buzz cut. I was humiliated when I got to school. But I look back now and just laugh. However I must say my hair has never been shorter than my shoulders since. I think it somewhat scared me for life.

It is really a very happy thing to play with your pet dog. All dogs are fond of their master and the members of the family to which they belong. They soon get familiar with the guests and friends who often visit the family into which they are adopted and so they do not behave aggressively to them. Dogs have to be taken care of well and trained through proper guidelines to make them good family dogs. Food and nourishment is something to be looked into while having a pet at home. Dogs are comfortable only when they are provided with proper food and other things needed by them are available to them. They do not demand much, but certain basic things such as a crate, few dolls, bones, etc are to be bought. Their health can be taken care by providing them dog supplements along with food for them. They too need vitamins, minerals and enzymes to make them live a healthy life. A healthy dog makes a fantastic companion and pet for your family.

My favorite past time is scrapbooking. I just love to scrapbook. There are so many different supplies to pick from and the creative possibilities are endless. I even do them on the side for friends to make a little extra money. I have a whole room in my house dedicated to scrapbooking and it contains everything from stickers and paper to lace and foam cut outs. Anytime I get a free moment to myself, this is usually where I find myself. I find scrapbooking a fun way to not only relax but to capture memories in a unique way. My idea of having fun is using my skills to capture my memories in a creative manner.

Last night for dinner my husband and I made his grandmothers famous “Taco Soup” along with grilled cheese sandwiches. With the weather so cold outside, it is the perfect warm comfort food. The soup is a combination of tomatoes, tomato sauce, ground beef, corn, taco seasoning, onion, Cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips.  The best part about the soup is not only that it is a fairly cheap dish to make, but also that we will have left over’s for days. We try to be very frugal in our household, so this soup is perfect for us to take leftovers for lunch at work. After dinner we had apple slices and caramel for dessert. It was the perfect sweet treat.

Economics was one of the most interesting courses I took in college. Although this is probably one of the biggest economic downfalls since the Great Depression, I feel as though we will come back from it. I must say the war impacts my opinion on the recession as I do believe it is one of the main causes. I don’t think people really realize the politics involved with economy as a whole. I think if people researched this topic in depth, the presidential election may have had a different outcome. With unemployment rates at a all time high and real-estate at an all time low, it is understandable that people are nervous about what the future holds. I just feel very blessed that I have a good paying job that supports me and my family.

My day is going very well. I woke up this morning next to the man I love and our wonderful dog. Any day I can begin this way is a blessing. I was also a bit more chipper than usual because I am off of work today. The weather outside was rainy and gloomy, so I opened my window and turned my fan on. What a great way to relax in bed all day! I then played on the computer for a little bit and proceeded to do some household chores. After that I made some lunch and played with my dog. My husband will be getting home from work soon and we will go to our favorite little bistro downtown as we always do on Wednesday’s.

It is very simple they are very loving, faithful and loyal to its owners. Dogs make you feel like a family member. It gives same amount love and affection that you get from any of the family member. Thus it is vital that we treat a dog very well and are equally concerned about its needs. Dogs very often accompany us when we go out be it for shopping, outing or even meeting our dear ones. Whenever dog is accompanying us in car, we have to make sure dog is fastening with seat belt. As regards, dog situation is slightly different. Our seat belt is across the body; whereas a dog seat belt is on its neck. Hence, one need to ensure that the belt is of good quality. The quality of leather is not allergic to skin, it is neither too tight nor too loose, so that it does not get suffocated or falls apart in the car in case of sudden braking or an accident of the car. Further, whenever, the new belt is put on we have to watch its movement for a couple of days. There after check around its neck that belt is not causing any inconvenience. Such small safety measure will keep the dog healthy and pleasant.

I had a close friend, but I recently found out that she was ready to end our friendship just because we had an argument that was literally about nothing at all.  It was the type of friendship where we were almost considered sisters, and she would call me her “best friend”.  I don’t really believe in that concept because I feel like you’re either friends with someone or you’re not, but it made me wonder even more what the point of “best friends” is, especially since it seemed so easy for her to just not be friends with me.  I thought friendship was something you could fight for, but after confiding in another friend, I was told that friendships come and go, even when you don’t want them, too.  It’s quite depressing, if you ask me.

Right now, I’m living in University City in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Since on-campus housing is too expensive, I’m living off campus.  My roommates and I live on the third floor of a small apartment, and I have my own room.  I guess it’s not bad, but I’m a little dissatisfied because my room is really small and I don’t have enough room to put all my belongings in.  Next to our house is a bridge that leads to a park, which is also where the art museum is, and it’s really nice to go on walks.  The only downside is that a few streets north of our apartment is a sketchier neighborhood, but I guess it’s not much of a downside since there’s really no reason for us to go there anyway.
