I had a close friend, but I recently found out that she was ready to end our friendship just because we had an argument that was literally about nothing at all.  It was the type of friendship where we were almost considered sisters, and she would call me her “best friend”.  I don’t really believe in that concept because I feel like you’re either friends with someone or you’re not, but it made me wonder even more what the point of “best friends” is, especially since it seemed so easy for her to just not be friends with me.  I thought friendship was something you could fight for, but after confiding in another friend, I was told that friendships come and go, even when you don’t want them, too.  It’s quite depressing, if you ask me.

Right now, I’m living in University City in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Since on-campus housing is too expensive, I’m living off campus.  My roommates and I live on the third floor of a small apartment, and I have my own room.  I guess it’s not bad, but I’m a little dissatisfied because my room is really small and I don’t have enough room to put all my belongings in.  Next to our house is a bridge that leads to a park, which is also where the art museum is, and it’s really nice to go on walks.  The only downside is that a few streets north of our apartment is a sketchier neighborhood, but I guess it’s not much of a downside since there’s really no reason for us to go there anyway.

I actually changed my outfit a few times today.  I woke up wearing sweatpants and a sweater, and then I was going to change into a skirt but my tights were ripped and it was too cold to go out without tights on.  I ended up wearing blue jeans and a gray ARMY t-shirt my ex-boyfriend got me, and then a black sweater for when I went out to the art store.  When I returned home, there was a package of clothes which I had bought online during cyber Monday, and there were tights!  So I changed and wore a pink skirt with a creamy white long sleeve shirt.  Over my shirt I wore a black tank top and, over that, a grey cardigan.
