Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays. I get excited for all the family gatherings, christmas lights, and of course, the presents. When I was once a kid who believed in santa, that was my favorite part. The best Christmas present I had ever gotten was a pink barbie jeep when I was ten years old! I was so excited to see this in my living room with a huge red ribbon around it that Christmas morning. It was my favorite gift that I had kept for many years. I wore the thing out. I thought I was the coolest kid ever, and I loved driving it around as much as I could before I became too old to fit in it.

China, which is what the word above means in the Mandarin language, is a place that I have always enjoyed as well.  Although it is not a place that I would like to live in forever, it is definitely a place that I am aiming to work in.  I visited China last year and fell in love with it during my time there.  Most people see it as a scary place with super weird food, but it actually is a place of friendly people and very good food if you simply don’t ask for only the weird stuff.  It is a beautiful land, and I am learning the difficult Mandarin language as well.  I am hoping that through my determination and hard work that I will be able to work there someday.

If I could take a trip anywhere, it would have to be Disney World in Florida.  This place has always been my favorite vacation spot, and I even hope to work there one day in one of the hotel resorts.  It has always been a place of fun and fantasy.  The two people that I would take would be my brother and my sister.  I have never taken a trip with just by bro and sis and I think that this would be really fun.  My family has always been very close, and it would be enjoyable to experience something like Disney World together like that.

The holiday I have chosen to discuss was this past Christmas.  Christmas has always been my favorite holiday, and this last one was very enjoyable.  The thing that I liked least about this last holiday, and the only thing at that, is that I had to work on Christmas Eve.  I am working full time to pay for college, so in order to keep the bills coming, I was chosen to work.  But I was raised never to question nor complain to your boss, so I did as I was told with a smile.  But the next day for Christmas, when the snow started falling, I forgot about this little set back and truly enjoyed a white Christmas with my family.
