If I had to pick one thing that keeps me going everyday it would most definitely be music. Music is the motivation for almost everything that I do. I have played music for the majority of my life and it brings me great joy. It allows me to form connections with other musicians that non-musicians cannot experience. It provides a source of entertainment. I also depend on it for a career as I plan to join the Air Force Band once I graduate from college. Music is present in every area of my life that I can think of.

In all of history, I would have to say that the piano is my favorite invention of all time. I’ve always been attracted to music and the piano was the first instrument that I learned to play. It may not be my main instrument, (I major in saxophone in college) but it remains to be my favorite instrument to listen to and to play. I believe that the most beautiful music ever written was written for piano. Almost every classical composer was a piano player. It is a very versatile instrument. I would be hard-pressed to find a situation in which it would not fit in. For all of these reasons, the piano is my favorite invention.
