Five Food Groups? Yes!!

Dinner last night was a combination of leftovers from the food we had over the weekend when our son and daughter-in-law were here. The main dish was creamed chicken with new boiled red potatoes. Then for a vegetable we had sliced tomatoes that were fresh from our garden and carrot slices, also from our own garden. The salad was lemon Jell-O mixed with ginger ale, pineapple, bananas and mini marshmallows, with a cream cheese and whipped cream topping. For the drink we had either water or 2% milk. Apple pie with ice cream or cheese was the finishing touch for the evening. The five food groups were all included in our dinner.
